Get to Know Me

I’m a Midwesterner at heart who made Southern Nevada home in 2009. I earned my bachelor’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University and my master’s in social work from University of Nevada -Las Vegas. Over the years, I’ve worked in many different settings with people from all walks of life, and I’m committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space for people of all cultures, races, genders and backgrounds.

Clinically, I’m trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Experiential Therapies. I am currently enrolled at the New Washington School of Psychiatry, training in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Therapy (ISTDP). This means I focus on helping people get to the core of what’s keeping them stuck, working to create meaningful change—not just quick fixes. Together, these approaches help you break free from old patterns, gain emotional clarity, and build a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.

When I’m not in therapist mode, you’ll find me soaking up sunsets, roller skating, hiking in the mountains, or snapping photos of the things that make life beautiful. I love dogs, being near water, and spending time with my favorite people.

What it’s like to work with me

Therapy with me is a collaborative, compassionate process where we face what’s real, work through the hard stuff, and create space for you to step into a more authentic, connected life.

Some days, that means gently challenging the beliefs that hold you back; other days, it’s about offering space to process and be heard without judgment. You don’t have to have it all figured out—you just need a willingness to show up, and I’ll meet you there.

Expect a mix of insight, practical tools, and maybe even a little humor along the way. Growth is hard work, but you don’t have to do it alone.

MY GUIDING PRINCIPLES

Honesty

Facing the hard stuff leads to growth, and I’ll help you do that with warmth and compassion.

Collaboration

You’re the expert on your life. I’m here to walk alongside you, so that you find a way forward that feels right for you.

Humanity

Being human is messy and progress isn’t perfect or linear; every step forward—big or small—matters.

Humor

Therapy is deep work, but laughter and joy are be part of healing too.
